Fires Set at New Hampshire State Prison for Men

February 2, 2017: Protests spread to a second facility in New Hampshire as fires are set in protest of restrictive visitation policies in all three New Hampshire prisons. The new policy includes no kissing, no hugs lasting more than 3 seconds, no vending machines or board games, and physical separation for the duration of the visit.

Uprising at Merrimack County House of Corrections, New Hampshire

April 10, 2012: Approximately 15 prisoners in the Delta Unit refused to lock down and took control of their tier. They built a barricade, wore masks over their faces and destroyed televisions and sprinkler heads. They held control of the unit for almost 3 hours before locking down in their cells.
