Mass Escape at Michigan Youth Facility After Staff Restrain Teen to Death
May 1, 2020: 25-28 youths escaped from Lakeside Academy after witnessing a fellow resident, 16-year-old Cornelius Frederick, be killed by staff after they restrained him by sitting on his chest for 9 minutes.
