Hillcrest Youth Correctional Facility, Salem, Oregon

Police from two agencies responded when multiple youths at Hillcrest Youth Correctional Facility refused orders from staff and damaged a door and multiple windows.
Hillcrest Youth Correctional Facility was permanently closed on September 1, 2017 when the institution was combined with the MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in Woodburn, Oregon.
Three days later there would be another uprising at the facility.
