According to the prisoner group Jailhouse Lawyers Speak (JLS), prisoners in at least two facilities in Georgia participate in the national prison strike. They state that “strike numbers are not yet strong enough to shut down a prison.”
JLS claims participation at the Georgia State Prison in Reidsville, Georgia and the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison in Jackson, Georgia.
