Uprising at Cummins Unit, Arkansas
Cummins Unit, Lincoln County, Arkansas September 14, 2017 Arkansas prisoners staged another short uprising, after incidents in July and August at Tucker Unit. The prisoners refused orders and destroyed property. Three prisoners were injured, and one called local media to report that conditions are “like a concentration camp” and that “you are going to continue to have riots… all units across the penitentiary because [conditions] are wrong.”
