Five prisoners attacked two prison guards at around 8 in the evening, which ended with both guards and one of the prisoners requiring medical treatment.  The prisoners were in a common room and breached a door that was supposed to be locked before attacking a guard.  The fight spilled over into another unit where a second guard jumped in.  One guard fired a warning shot to end the fight. A correctional officer was hit in the face with shrapnel as a result of the shot and suffered additional injuries.
