Attack on Guards at Lanesboro Correctional Institution, North Carolina

Lanesboro Correctional Institution, Polkton, North Carolina September 29, 2016 Two prison officials, a lieutenant and a sergeant, were stabbed by prisoners and then flown to a hospital in critical condition. Two other guards were assaulted with a broom handle. The prison was then placed on lockdown.
