Hunger Strike at Westville Correctional Facility, Indiana

Westville Correctional Facility, Westville, Indiana January 13-24, 2014 A group of prisoners launch a hunger strike in protest of nutritionally deficient cold sack lunches. The lunches are the result of cutbacks by Aramark. After ten days and a protest and media campaign by outside supporters, hot lunches resume. Prison staff then retaliate by turning off heat to the unit.
